Summer Reading Part II

The district's summer reading lists have been published online and students will each receive a hard copy of the list for their grade level before the school year ends. Lists are revised each year by the district's elementary librarians and are excellent sources of books to try this summer.

Students are not limited, however, to the books on the lists. We encourage wide reading of anything students are interested in. Summer is a great time to find a new favorite author or genre by browsing local bookstores, browsing our great public libraries, or picking up a new book on vacation. Listening to audiobooks or others reading aloud counts, too!

We hope that as a family you will find some time to read each day this summer.

Happy reading!
